You're proud, and you should be...proud. Um, yeah. Dante described Pride as a "love of self perverted to hatred and contempt for one's neighbor." It's hard not to love yourself, though, because you're probably just that awesome. Pride is also referred to as Vanity (like that dead, mutilated model in Se7en). The funny thing is, Pride is supposed to be the "worst" sin, but I think it has a lot of positive connotations in American culture. Patriots are proud! Soccor moms are proud!
